In anticipation of my next research and creation I'm keen to meet with dancers/performers. 

 

I'm organizing a series of choreographic laboratories in Brussels in March (see dates below).

 

It's a playgroup for experimentation, research and encounters.

The exploration will focus around those topics :

character creation - deformation/décalé/off-beat bodies - movement qualities - body sounds and rhythm.

 

Following these laboratories, a small group of dancers may be selected to continue the research and creation process.

 

Participation in the labs: free of charge. 

 

 

Profile required :

 

- Dancer based in Brussels or surrounding area. 

 

- Minimum 2 years' professional experience (stage). 

 

- Fundamental: experience with improvisation work.

 

- Welcome/preferred: work around movement qualities, body theatricality (character creation) and movement rhythmics.

Lab dates : March 1 - 5 - 8 - 14 - 21 - 26 (3h/day)

It is not mandatory to be present to all dates but at least to 3 out of the 6.
